In the Baby Room, tender loving care comes top of our list of priorities. We have created a secure homely environment where babies are able to find his / her feet and explore his / her surroundings with qualified supervision.
This is a very exciting period in a child's life, there is so much for them to discover and explore. Fantasy and role-playing feature strongly as they develop their thought processes and become more confident.
At this stage in your child's development we aim to provide good quality ante pre-school education through 'Curriculum for Excellence' to meet their educational needs coupled with good quality childcare. Our nursery focuses on child based learning. The staff allow children to learn through their own experiences and encourage them to challenge their own thinking thus enabling them to build confidence in their own ability.
By following the 'Curriculum for Excellence' your child will help set their own success criteria and be fully involved in their own learning. In your their pre-school year we aim to expand their education in a fun and exciting way, helping your child reach their full potential. Topics are researched in depth giving all children the tools and skills to push their learning needs and experiences to an exciting new level.
This room has introduced a further dimension to the child's play; it can be used for a great variety of games, action songs, sensory activities and all aspects of physical play regardless of the weather outside. The room has been fitted out in bright colours, with a choice of bright or subdued lighting. it has proved to be an extremely popular addition to our facility at Technotots and one, which all age groups are able to enjoy and benefit from.
Outside play is planned for and can provide exciting opportunities to develop most areas of learning and the learning goals within these.
The children are encouraged to use the garden and resources with a high level of independence.
We see outdoors as a classroom in itself and will take the children out in all types of weather.
